2010 has come and gone, but we'll definitely remember many things.  One of those is that 2010 was the year of the Lace Front Wig.  It definitely was not newly introduced in 2010, but the Lace Front Wig really hit the mainstream big time. Many of you already know that Lace Front Wigs have been around for many years and for many different uses.  More recently, Lace Front Wigs have been popularized by many celebrities from performers and movie stars to talk show hosts. Some of the well known celebrities that wear Lace Front Wigs are Beyonce Knowles, Ciara, Tyra Banks, and Wendy Williams to name a few.  Tyra Banks and Wendy Williams have been very vocal and open with their hair and keep no secrets about it.  Divas, keep doin it in 2011!

Hey Divas!  I've been wearing Milky Way Yaky for about one week now and  I wanted to share my experience with everyone.  I had my weave glued in since I only plan to wear it for two to three weeks.  I'm a Diva that likes to change styles frequently!  I'm sure a lot of you feel me on that!  I'm wearing 12" on top with 16" on bottom to give a glamorous layered look.  It's held up good so far but Milky Way Yaky does require constant maintenance.  I brush the hair daily, usually more than once.  At night, make sure you wrap it with a satin scarf.  This helps to maintain it's silky texture.  I've been making some loose waves with my 1" ceramic flat iron.  This gives my hair a bit more volume.  One of the things I like the most about Milky Way Yaky is that it holds a curl well.  Some other brands that I've worn, don't hold a curl nearly as well.  It's best not too wash this weave, since it's coated with silicone.  From experience, the hair doesn't act or look the same after washing.  For a glue in, I really like Milky Way since it doesn't break the bank and it lasts until I'm ready to do a new style.  For a sew in, I would recommend different hair instead.  I hope this helps everyone out and I'll check in with you next time!
